are you thinking you have one last chance to knit a larger item for that special someone on your holiday gift list? we may have just what you’re looking for here with the hazard rectangle. it’s the very last treat we’re squeezing in for our cyber monday celebration.

it’s a wrap (in two sizes!), it’s a baby square, it’s a lap robe, and best of all, it’s a blanket (also in two sizes). best of all, it’s an easy-going, relaxing knit—just choose your endurance level and go.

AND you can knit it in two yarn weights—light and airy for a springtime baby or cushy and deeply textured for that newlywed couple who like to cuddle. have we covered all the bases, or what?

oops—actually there is one more way we’ve made it easy for you; david, nicole and sarah have put together some kits pairing the pattern with our breakfast blend yarns. all eligible for our cyber monday free shipping deal—run!

this is the project you’ll look forward to seeing at the end of the day—all softness and luxury. just put your feet up, sit back, and watch those diamonds rattle off the needles.

shown here, sarah is wearing the petite hazard wrap, knit in breakfast blend fingering yarn, color bakery rye. she’s got that on over the top of her bloch ness cardigan, knit in kent DK

we’ll update you with more photos as we get some samples knit in other sizes and yarn weights (i really want to knit one myself from confection, but it’s going to have to wait til after the holidays . . . no impulse knitting for me this month, phooey.).

many thanks to our dear friend jessica, who knit the wrap you see pictured here—she’s a terrific knitter and we’re so lucky to know her!

and of course a big thank you to david and sarah as well—we’re so glad sarah is back from vacation!

Doggone it Anne, why do you keep designing such fab stuff? I can’t even begin to keep up. I hope Santa brings me 4 extra pairs of hands.
