go find your finger

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

it’s rare that i would post one of these, but i really love this one, considering how well we all think we know our fingers . . .

so it turns out that i am

You Are the Index Finger

You are ambitious, driven, and capable.
You aren’t afraid to take responsibility for your actions – or place the blame on whoever deserves it.
You are honest, free thinking, and objective. You see things in your own way – and you aren’t afraid to let everyone know about it.

You get along well with: The Thumb

Stay away from: The Ring Finger

thumbsโ€”we need to have coffee!
ring fingersโ€”we need to talk.

go find your own fingerโ€”and let us know what happens.

  1. UH-OH….I’m suppose to stay away from you… Not likely since your blog is my favorite read of the day…Since I’m a ring finger, I get the largest diamond right?…Hmmmm…note that the ring finger is also the one wearing the ring of loyalty and devotion…a great honor to be sure! (of course the index finger points, turns the pages of my book and guides my yarn while knitting…) It takes all five to open doors too…

  2. Three of us took the test. We have two pinkies and an index finger in the same room.

  3. I guess we should talk… lol!

Love the golf socks. I see them as ice cream cones and want to make baby/toddler versions for my girls! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I’m a pinky. Need to stay away from thumbs. We’re ok then. Although I get along with ring fingers, maybe I can liaise between the two to keep things going smoothly.

  5. Fun! You get along with me–a thumb. Thumbs are good, I think, but not very sexy or romantic. Must have been the documentaries. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. uh oh, I got ring finger… despite my constant amusement at your anthropomorphic socks, I guess we can’t ‘hang out’.

That was a startlingly good description, though! lol

  7. Oh, you’re so sneaky! This is a trick to get us all to think about something else instead of the fact that you’re supposed to be working on the “you know what!!”
By the way–ring finger! Loved the quiz!

  8. When I first did this little test on Sivia Harding’s blog, I came up as a ‘ring finger’, but I see myself more as the ‘index finger’ type. Apparently, I’m also the city of Paris and Elizabeth Bennett according to two other tests like this. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. Oh, good! I’m a Thumb and as I wandered through the knitternet it seemed that everyone was coming up incompatible pinkie. ๐Ÿ™‚

And I see there are one or two Thumbs cropping up here. I don’t feel so alone anymore. LOL

  10. I’m apparently a pinky. The description fits quite well, but I haven’t seen the descriptions for all the fingers: maybe I’d find as much truth in them as in that one. That would be perfect, actually, for I think a whole hand is much more useful than a single finger to knit and spin!

  11. Well, I’m apparently a middle finger, which means I get along well with you. (Whether you get along well with me is a different question, I suppose. ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

  12. As a ring finger apparently I am supposed to keep my distance from you….oh well. We can talk about that! Guess that won’t be happening! Besides I have some socks of yours to knit.

  13. Thumb here. So where do you want to meet for coffee? Perhaps somewhere in the middle? Nebraska, perhaps?

  14. I’m a pinky. ๐Ÿ™‚ “You are fiercely independent, and possibly downright weird.
A great communicator, you can get along with almost anyone.
You are kind and sympathetic. You support all your friends – and love them for who they are.

  15. pinky here – makes total sense to me! now WHEN is that latest pattern going to be available for sale?

    have a lovely weekend!

  16. Oh, the horror! I, too, am a ring finger. Why I’m popping out of lurkerdom to tell you that you should avoid me like the plague I have no idea. Oh, well. I can still enjoy your blog, and your designs, and I’ll bet you’d still let me buy them, lol!

  17. Hehey, I’m a thumb! I don’t drink coffee, but I love the smell of it, so just let me know where to meet up. ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. Ring finger reporting for duty, ma’am. And without me, it would be hard to type 9, o, l, ., 2, w, s, x

  19. Too funny! I love these things. I’m a middle finger, by the way, so we should get along just fine if you’re ever get over here.

  20. Hi Anne! I’m a thumb! I’m not a coffee drinker, but I’ll be happy to drink tea or orange juice…

  21. Another pinky checking in… cute test! Totally accurate.. I had to post it on my blog too. What does the thumb profile say? I’m curious as to what to avoid!

  22. Oh gosh, I’m a middle finger – so I won’t be posting THAT picture on my blog. We should get along, although apparently I get along better with you than you do with me?
