that little scarf
anne wrote this in the early evening:

you asked for it . . . and you named it too.
the first “little nothing”, a small, sweet scarf to
dress up just about any neckline, or give as a gift.
one stitch all the way through.
That Little Scarf
shown here in K1C2 Richesse et Soie (now discontinued), colorway, Butterscotch
works with any soft fingering weight yarn.

very lovely–just my kind of “bagatelle” (trifle). Maybe that word rings a bell: There are the Beethoven Bagatelles, small pieces written for piano. Gorgeous, little-known music. I’m already a fan of your “small works.”

A beautiful scarf and very nice color. Maybe this will be my next project after I am finished with irfa’a.

So sweet! And now I want a caramel sundae.

Ahh, yes, Sheila! Bagatelles! I love it. The color is awesome, and the scarf is one of my favorites, already. Thanks for writing the pattern for us. You’re the best!

Mmmm. Snagged it and started it last night! I had the perfect stuff for it in stash. I am all the way through one repeat and it’s going to be so cute!

It really is lovely. I especially love the colour (I can totally see how it would work great with a black cashmere coat).

This is my kind of accessory. Clever but simple.

Anne- If you designed a toilet roll cover, it would be a thing of beauty.

very lovely. But then you already know that I love this pattern… which reminds me, I need to finish that other project -(grin)
Little nothings is so very clever.

Oh it’s beautiful, I love it, love it, love it. Now, where’s the pattern – I’ll try and be good and use something from my stash instead of buying something new.
Thanks again for yet another wonderful design!

Thank you so much! Just got the pattern last night and am thinking about what it might be like in Sea Silk…

I think the scarf is fabulous. It would make a great quick present, too, so it’s just right for the season.
I was wondering if you could show what the back of the scarf looked like since that’s always a consideration.
Thanks!
