second in the little nothings scarf series, this weightless rectangle of alpaca and silk wards off a sudden chill or tames the hair on a windy drive or walk.
later, it magically folds away into a pocket or bag for another time.

kudos to jocelyn and carrie who test knit the pattern with relish, and to our dear rachel for proofreading (she’s SO good at it) and making it perfect.

Gorgeous!
Oo!!!! I’m comment number 2!!!! Looks awesome Anne – especially with that turtleneck!!!!
In keeping with its name, the lace pattern also looks like rows of sailboats in a full breeze.
Gorgeous as always!
Simply stunning as always.
very nice! will add to my very long queue of knitspot must-knits!
Very pretty !!
And such an elegant long neck 🙂
It’s just lovely!
Very pretty! Nice work!
I am in seriously LOVE with this little scarf, Anne — already bought my kit!
Awesome wee scarf. Perfect!
Ooooo, that’s my kind of scarf! Well done!!
VERY pretty Anne!
That is one very sweeeet little nothing!
Those colours look divine with your skintone, I noticed that on the other post photo… and since that particular shade of green looks poo on me, I found myself staring at the photo in pure amazement :^), lucky you!
very beautiful!
Anne- It’s lovely and so wearable. The pattern seems to give it movement.
It’s beautiful, Anne. You and Judy make a formidable team.
oh, that is really pretty! Hmmm…might have to add that to my wish list…
This is destined to become a new classic. it is lovely and wearable, and I will definitely be making it! Kudos to you.
Ahhh, sweet nothings! It’s so beautiful, Anne. The stickpin is perfect with it. Congratulations on another winner. You must be very proud (and that’s okay!)!.
I love this little scarf…I just ordered a kit – in the storm colorway.
omg this looks so fabulous!
Yikes, one second I was admiring the scarf and the yarn and the next second I was clicking the “order” button at ball & skein 🙂 Great match between the yarn and the pattern, looking forward to knitting one myself.
Oh that *is* pretty…
And is that your Bleeding Hearts Shawl I see in the preview of the Spring Interweave Knits?
Wowza!!!!
You’re good. Really, really good…
You’ve just been given a “You Make My Day” award from We Heart Yarn! Thank you for making my day!
it is quite stunning.
I don’t know how you do it! Yup, this one’s a keeper 🙂
What a great pattern for Judy’s beautiful yarn! I love it.
This little photo shoot is SO beautifully styled. It really brings out that scarf in every way. The fourth image looks like it could be on the cover of a novel.
It really makes me want to knit this scarf! Mission accomplished.
Ha! Test knit. Well, I did make it through one pattern repeat and I loved it. If only the toddler and the germs and the DH’s pneumonia and that pesky work thing would leave me alone so I could knit more.
It’s absolutely beautiful. I already ordered my kit! I’m planning to give it to my mom — if I can part with it once finished.
Lovely blues and greens. I have bookmarked the kit. Beautiful!
The perfect little scarf! Gorgeous as usual!
Kit in my cart already. Now I just need to decide how many other skeins of yarn I “need” from there. Because you can’t go shopping for one thing without a quick look around can you? That was quite a while ago btw. Sigh. No wonder it takes me so long to finish knitting something. I keep getting distracted by the new pretties.
Its gorgeous Anne! thanks again for another lovely pattern.
lovely!
gorgeous. and thanks again to david for a great photo shoot. I was just over at ball and skein to see their fabulous yarn choices – would that I could buy them all~
I just saw this on Judy’s blog the other day. You two make a great team 🙂 Storm is calling my name…
Beautiful!!
Gust is simply lovely! Thanks for the inspiration and the lovely pictures.
That little nothing is whole lot of something. Very nice!
I love this!!!! And I might have enough skill to actually knit it 🙂
Your hair is so cute! and the scarf looks amazing on you!
