  1. You are killing me!!
Of course I had to buy it. NOw I just need the time to knit it. It’s scrumptious!

  2. Beautiful! I love the name, too.

May I just say how much I enjoy your blog? Beautiful knitting, lovely photographs. It’s a real pleasure to read.

  3. The scarf looks great! And the contrast with your shirt is fantastic – it really brings out the depth of color in both.

  4. Punch and Judy just pops! Love it! But I must refrain (for now)…today I block Alhambra! AND I’ve already started Tudor Rose.

  5. What a beauty! And you’re right, punch and judy suits it just great. It really adds a bit of fun to it all. Ah, tis the season for scarf wear. I know what’s going to go on my “to-do” this season for gifts. πŸ˜€

  6. Such a fun pattern! I do have a question though. It doesn’t seem to have a curl at all. Is that due to the amount of lace work or just a good blocking?

  7. Anne, I love this one! It’s simple enough for train knitting, I think, and I am ALWAYS looking for good train knitting. πŸ˜‰ Plus I think I may have just the right skein of yarn for it…

  8. Ooo. Pretty. I love the pumpkin-y orange. I need that yarn! Did you use the whole ball? I wonder how it would look as a stole…

  9. Monkey see, monkey buy.

It looks great. I think I might queue this up twice. Once in the Sangria and once in a black and white type yarn to hint chess maybe.

  10. Wow, yep, like Ronni just said: “monkey saw, monkey bought!” The bittersweet color is glorious! and I love that Judy says there is enough yarn to get to 72″ for us tall ones. Alhambra and Hamsa are gifts, but this one will be for me, me, me!

I’m glad I still have two weeks to try to finish Hamsa first before this one ships. I’m through the fifth repeat but life just keeps getting in the way of knitting…

  11. Perfect name for this scarf!!! I am finding that I am beginning to like orange after seeing the picture.

  12. Judy’s yarn is always stunning – and works up so beautifully in Punch and Judy. (great name btw!).
what a fun and interesting pattern

  13. Darn it, every time I step away from the computer for 24 hours or more, I miss something really good! Luckily it’s still here for me to admire. I love the name, too!
