thanks a million to rachel for proofreading each pattern so well.
and not to be intentionally punny, but please give a hand to my friend anne marie, our model today; she graciously braved the windy cold to guest star the photo shoot this morning. thanks anne marie!

  1. Oh, Anne, those are absolutey GORGEOUS!! I MUST Have a pair to match my beautiful neckwarmer!!! Just have to get all these holiday gifts off the needles first!

  2. Tomorrow i am out of home, but returning i will immediately go shopping. thanks Anne, they are so beautiful

  3. These are my favorite mitts todate…I love them! So victorian looking. I can’t wait to get started on them!

  4. Another lovely pattern, Anne! I think I may have to gift this pattern to myself for Christmas. It may seem silly that someone living in the California desert would need them, but they keep the air conditioning on so cold sometimes my poor little hands are freezing! That’s a problem, since I’m a court reporter and warm, nimble fingers are a priority. These look dressy enough that I’m hoping I’ll get admiring glances rather than questioning looks, although as long as I’m warm I don’t care either way!

  5. I likey! I have a half a skein left of merino bamboo from my Tudor Grace that I think will be perfect for these. I do love me some fingerless mitts and I’ve been waiting for this one. 🙂

  6. I cannot resist these & of course I have just the right amount of yarn left from the spiralucious neckwarmer! Wonderful!

  7. Hi Anne! How fun to see the counterpart to the retreat project! I finished the neckwarmer sometime back so I’ll have to knit these beauties to go with it. They are really lovely! Graceful lines that can dress an outfit up or down. Another great design!
