boxleaf triangle

are you quite ready for spring’s arrival, but wondering when you’ll actually get a taste of it?
march can be a long haul for a lot of us . . . and if leaf-in-a-box is the closest thing to foliage i’m likely to see this month, i’ll take it.

shown above: petite size shawl in fleece artist cambyx, a camel/silk blend, colorway, hemlock.

shown below, mini version knit in hand maiden camelspin

the beautiful stick pin shown with the shawls on this page was created by romi; see more in her shop

to purchase pattern or view complete pattern information, please click here to visit the product page in the knitspot pattern shop.

the soft, richly dyed yarn for this project was sent to me by evelyn who sells a beautiful selection of yarns and patterns at her shop, knitty noddy.
thank you to rachel for proofreading and making each pattern the best it can be.
and to my friend debby, who cheerfully gave the pattern a test drive; thanks debby!

I always love seeing your patterns blocked out and draped like that! I like the smaller version best.

This is a lovely interplay of stripes in the yarn bisecting the pattern of the squares. Great design!

Another gorgeous pattern, Anne! Just curious – did you get my email the other day with the question about test knitting?

Wow…I’m not sure which I like the best. The colors in that Camelspin are so rich. They remind me of woodsmoke, or the last crunchy leaves that hide in the corners of the deck before the snow comes. So what’s next, Anne? :-)

Did you know that you can make a report with the ohio attorney general’s office about the mfg. of your stove? The AG will not act as your attorney but they will look into it and find out if there is a problem with the stoves or if the mfg. is not complying with laws. My sister had a refrig. that she had problem after problem with. She lost several frig fulls of food, etc. After a written complaint to the ag’s office, the company contacted my sister, replaced the frig with a new one and sent her a check for $600 to cover the lost food. I love BOTH of your new shawls! I already have a lace weight shawl on the needles so at least that might buy some time to decide which shawl & which yarn to use. We have crocus & snowdrops but no daffodils as yet, over here in the Yorkshire Dales.Sometimes it feels like spring & sometimes it just doesn’t!

Another master piece – love the petite one & the color is gorgeous. Have to find the time to knit one.

Wow! I can’t believe how much knitting you get done! Awesome!

Yum. After seeing the cambyx knit up here, I ordered enough for a sweater, which has been flying off the needles– about 40% done already. Any advice on blocking the cambyx? I’m debating between a spritz and steam vs. a wet block for the sweater. I wet blocked my swatch, and built in a generous allowance for relaxing of stitching in my sizing on the sweater, but am not sure of the wisdom of wetblocking the whole sweater, which is knit in one piece and will weigh almost a pound dry.

woohoo! Thanks for the help in pattern selection! I just downloaded the Boxleaf Triangle Pattern from your site and ordered Fleece Artist Cambyx from Knitty Noddy! I CANNOT WAIT to get started. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea that they will wind my balls for me for a minimal fee!!! Ain’t life Grande?!
