another little spring thing—a slightly wider scarf for the early days of spring when the temptation to shed a jacket overtakes us.

the pewter robin brooch was purchased from perl grey (they have great buttons, too)

Gorgeous! Just like everything you make.
I look to your blog and projects for such inspiration. As a newer knitter I look for the precious bits I may one day be ready to make.
😀 Mary
What a great pattern! As a man, I could definitely see myself wearing something like that. Manly lace is hard to find. Beautiful!
Your scarf is absolutely gorgeous! Definitetly inspiring!
Here’s a challene for you . . . a sweater pattern using Cookie A.’s techniques from her new book.
Beautiful! That color is very flattering on you too.
very pretty, as are all your patterns … but aren’t you going to tell us about the little bird??
Beautiful color on you! You make such lovely things, fun to check in and see what you’ve made.
Yay, that’s absolutely beautiful!! and I like the idea of a wider scarf … I’m already tempting going barefoot *lol* nevermind shedding that jacket *grin*
LOVE IT!!! i adore the bird pin, too. so very sweet in every single way. xo
Oh the bird pin is so cute! Love this scarf, darn, another pattern to buy… 😉
Beautiful color and pattern, especially when paired over brown! I love wide scarves.
This is such a lovely scarf. I’m particularly stunned by how beautiful that color is for you, Ann. And I’m very pleased that you chose a solid, something you don’t seem to do as often as blends. Just beautiful!
Very pretty!
You did a great job on this one Anne. I love the blue and it looks like a small amount of lace I can actually knit.
Keep up the good work.
Another beautiful scarf, Anne. You are so talented! I love it!
Intended to comment on all the lovely new goodies for the last few days—they are all gorgeous! Fantastic scarf and the perfect color for spring!
I’m afraid I’d need a much bigger shawl than that one for the ankle deep snow we have this week. I’ll keep looking at this scarf during the day to remind me that at some point spring is coming. It’s such an uplifting colour.
I love that bird pin. Where did it come from?
That’s a beautiful cheerful color for a beautiful scarf. More to add to my “to knit” list.
