we will explore a variety of gorgeous fibers and colors through a series of intermediate fall and winter accessory projects. each project is designed by anne specifically for a custom yarn, to be portable and fun to knit, appropriate for gifting or keeping as a treat to oneself.

yarns will include a selection of hand dyed choices from familiar knitspot favorites as well as new collaborating artists. a range of yarn weights and luxury fiber blends (mostly animal fibers) will be represented.

we will continue to offer our popular eBook only option as well as the extra yarn option (while supplies last).

there will be one yarn and color each month; substitutions will not be possible.

patterns, designer notes, and photographs will continue to be delivered monthly in chapter format, each one spotlighting the yarn of the month within the background story of the design inspiration, process, and seasonal influences, along with biographies of our collaborating artists. the full set plus cover file may be compiled into a complete book at the end.

delivery:
the club will begin shipping in august 2012, one shipment per month through january 2013 (a total of 6 yarn shipments); as with the current club, we will aim for arrival to coincide with the chapter release at mid-month. yarn shipments will be posted on the 7th (international) and the 15th (USA) unless those days fall on a weekend or holiday.

all packages will be shipped USPS first class mail; international shipped in a VAT-friendly manner. extra yarn shipped in a separate package when necessary.

the eBook will continue to be delivered as a series of digital PDF downloads through the knitspot club website on the 17th of each month; patterns will not arrive by email or surface mail, nor will a hardcopy be included in the yarn shipment. patterns (past or present!) may be retrieved at any time. as an added bonus, the eBook will now be available for download through ravelry if desired. please remember to update/add ravelry username to your club profile.

pricing:
pricing for the full membership options will remain the same as for the 2011 BNK club. you will notice a very small increase in all of the extra yarn options to correct a previous error in calculating postage on them for the 2011 club. For actual pricing, please click here.

signups:
a pre-order signup period for all current club members (including pattern-only) will open april 17th and every person who is enrolled in our BNK club at that time will be notified by email on that day, when the april BNK chapter is delivered. the email will include a non-transferable code for a members-only 5% discount on the purchase of any FiFC membership. the discount code will expire when signups open to the general public on may 1. BNK memberships purchased after april 17 will not be eligible for this discount.

signups will open to the general public on tuesday, may 1st and full memberships will close when all spots are filled. eBook only option will remain open until the end of february, 2013.

memberships must be prepaid in full by credit card or Paypal. at this time we are not accepting check payments for club memberships. for the time being, we must continue selling the club without a payment option; we just don't have the staffing required to do billing and payments, which can get complicated for a large club. plus, we need to order and pay for all of our yarn in advance; thus we need a skein count that stays the same throughout.

change of address: members are responsible for updating their profiles, adding ravelry username (if ravelry delivery is desired), a change in billing or shipping address, or correction to existing address information in our files.

if your package does not arrive within 21 days of the ship date, we will investigate, help locate it, and/or resend if necessary.

refund policy: knitspot will issue a full refund up to july 1st. all refunds/exchanges will be subject to a processing fee of $50 (not applicable to upgrades). refunds will not be issued after the club shipments begin on august 7, 2012.
