I very much enjoyed knitting these socks on girl yarn (not boy yarn). Gridiron was super easy to memorize right off the bat, and they knit up really quick. And this from someone who Suffers Seriously from Second Sock Syndrome. They were easy enough to memorize, yet interesting enough to keep me moving forward!
