I made the smallest size for my granddaughter when she was 12 months old out of silk yarn. She is now 18 months and still wearing it. It's the first thing she pulls out of the laundry basket. Her mother is planning on using it over leggings and a turtleneck this winter when it's too short for a dress. Works up really quickly.
