My daughter picked this pattern out for me to make her for Christmas. I was not sure I could pull it off because it looks a lot more complex than it really is. But I gave it a try, and it was not nearly as hard as I expected it to be. I got it done in a week, and I am delighted with the way it turned out. My daughter lives in Vienna, Austria, where knitting is a classic art. She got lots of compliments on this set, and even elderly ladies on the bus would come over to admire the knitting. So this passes inspection by some real tough critics. As usual, Anne's charts and directions are the best out there. She knows how to construct garments that lay right, fit right, and take my knitting to a new level. I used Sublime worsted Merino/Silk in mulberry (a sort of dark mauve color), and it looks beautiful. Thank you Anne!
