I made this in the 3 months size in cherry red for my grandchild. It was great fun to do, it looks adorable and my daughter loves it. I struggled a bit getting the partial motifs right, where decreasing gives you fewer stitches. You really have to think hard or it can look messy or the lace can pull open if you have yarn overs too near the edge. I will make it again I'm sure at some stage and no doubt will find it easier then. Better knitters would have no trouble.
