Mayberry features a fun cable motif that adds a bit of interest, but not so much extra effort. The result has a bit more flair than a plain beanie, too. Wear it with a little slouch. 

Requires a little experience working in the round, and working cables from charts.

Finished sizes of hat:
18 (19.5, 21) inches, lightly stretched.
Depth: 9 (9.5, 10) inches.
Choose a size approximately 2-4 inches smaller than your head circumference. The hat is very stretchy.

Yarn requirement: 
1 skein for any size

Fiber Content:
100% Merino

Gauge: 
17 sts and 24 rounds = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles, blocked

Needles: 
US 7 (4.5 cm) or size to obtain gauge: 16-inch circular, and needles for small circumference in the round – double pointed needles, two circulars or a long circular as you prefer
US 5 (3.75mm) (or two sizes smaller than gauge needle) 16-inch circular
