A big cozy neck wrap is the quintessential winter accessory and our best defense against the wind’s frosty fingers. Pile on this generous unisex scarf, cowl, or wrap in an edgy oversized striped version or knit solid in a traditional proportion to give as a gift. The pattern—fast and fun to knit—includes multiple sizes, making it a great candidate for gift knitting and stash busting. The scarf is worked back and forth in a flat construction while the cowl is worked in the round. The size is easily adjusted to suit your taste or yarn supply. And finally, this project is perfect for beginning lace knitters or those on the go; once memorized, it travels very well.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.
