Another design has popped up on ravelry in Bare Naked Wools! Bonnie Sennott, designer behind Blue Peninsula, fell in love with the fiber combination of Breakfast Blend Fingering and knew it would be perfect for a cowl. When her design was released it was an instant favorite in the Bare Naked Wools ravelry group.

Anne and I fell in love with Bonnie’s design all over again when we ran into her wearing her cowl at Squam in June.

This accessory was first designed in Breakfast Blend Fingering

and Bonnie said it would also be perfect for Stone Soup Fingering.

  1. I would love to do it in Breakfast Blend in the granite color. I’m just waiting for more to come back in stock. 🙂

  2. It’s an awesome design and definitely on my list. I have both stone soup in pumice and breakfast blend in charcoal and cannot decide which to use.

  3. I know this is a knitting but….I am going to buy some pickling cucumbers. I have an old family recipe to try but it doesn’t say anything about selecting the cukes. Can you offer up some suggestions?

  4. I’m making mine in Cocoa Breakfast Blend – it is so much fun to watch the pattern develop and is very fun to knit – hope to bring it to Rhinebeck to show it off!

  5. Oh oh oh oh! I am working on TWO of these simultaneously right now! One for me and one for a gift and I wanted them done at the same time so I’ve been trading off with the knitting. I’m using Oatmeal and Espresso Breakfast Blend and am about 3/4 finished with each cowl. I fell in love with this design; it’s so pretty and very easy.

  6. How beautiful is that pattern!!!!! I do love bare yarns but that although color is not one I can wear without looking ghastly it just doesn’t go with my skin.

  7. The pattern is beautiful, I am hankering for some more of the Breakfast Blend yarn now that the mornings are getting cooler. I need something to keep me warm while I’m out walking. I’m guessing that there’s not a ‘Blueberry pancakes’ colourway yet?!! 😉
