paris-roubaix mitts, hat, and scarf

named for cycling’s classic spring race, famous for its grueling course over miles of pavé, these knits are anything BUT. an easy knit/purl pattern works up into a rich texture similar to those notorious country roads, but results in a much cushier ride.
in three sizes to fit adults and children.

many, MANY thanks to all the debs: deb kessler of fearless fibers for providing such lovely inspiration yarn,
debby w. and debbieKnitter for test knitting the pattern (ok, they may have gotten a little addicted to the stitch patten, but that isn’t harmful, is it?).
and rachel of course who ensures every time that our numbers all add up, that our i’s are crossed, and our t’s dotted.

but most of all showers of thanks to miss priss, our lovely model (who wants her mitts and hat back now, please).

  1. That purple version is wonderful! I am SO looking forward to knitting these for Rick (and for once, he’s actually excited about the idea of fingerless mitts).

  2. The set is so gorgeous! I love the colors! The little girl steals the prize, however! Who is she? A niece? Cute, cute, cute.

  3. It looks gorgeous in that colour! Little miss priss is very beautiful. I can’t blame her for wanting her hat and mitts back. What a little treasure she is!

  4. Beuatiful little girl. So adorable. And the pattern is so pretty. The stitch pattern and texture of this pattern is wonderful.
