a sock to walk us into april, wound round with organic patterns of new vine shoots and tiny violets.

shown here in harmony sock yarn from the woolen rabbit, colorway, herb robert (this colorway is exclusive to the yarn4socks april club kit; see kim’s harmony sock yarn page for a variety of gorgeous alternatives).

as is often the case, i had much help getting this pattern into publication. our great friend jocelyn did her usual superb test knit, and with buckets of enthusiasm.
and once again rachel pitched in with proofreading expertise . . . what would we do without her?
thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

  1. Just got my kit this morning. So, so pretty! They look much different now that they’re blocked. I’m going to try to wait to start these, but I’m on a bad startitis roll.

  2. My kit just arrived a few minutes ago! It is beautiful, although my skein doesn’t look like it has much violet at all in it…almost solid green. Oh well, the yarn is still very soft and I can’t wait to knit the pattern:) Thanks!

  3. Dang! Another one. I hope the folks in Idaho Falls are prepared for an entire table of sock patterns when we go to the festival next month. I’ll have to go order some of these in my next batch too!

  4. I got my kit the other day. I sat and petted it for a while and then I had to set it down because I already have too many socks on needles right now. I predict that will not last though. It’s soooooo pretty I want to knit it right now.

  5. Ahhh, those socks are just exquisite. I’m reminded of the purple crocuses currently in my front flowerbeds. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. These socks are next on MY needles too….I absolutely adore this pattern! Makes me think of Johnny Jump Ups in the Spring ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. You have just made my day! Now when will it warm up for Spring here in Chicagoland! Beautiful pattern!

  8. I love this sock pattern I can’t wait to knit it. I have been waiting for it to be ready to knit since you first posted pictures of it.

  9. Thank you for the pattern. I just finished knitting the socks. It was such a joy to knit and it fits my feet perfectly. =)
