an absolutely yummy, dense, and warm knit to take you into the heart of winter. work these up in a lofty, soft yarn to keep ears and fingertips toasty. deeply-ribbed ear and wrist bands seal out the cold while a fun-to-knit texture creates pockets of comfort within.
shown here in briar rose pilgrim in a cindery blacks-over-reds multi colorway.

you are adorable!
I agree…you are adorable. As is your sweater! I’m sure you knit it, didn’t you? If so, what yarn did you use? It is gorgeous!!
Love the sweater. Is it your design too?
I haven’t even finished my lacunae pattern and here’s another one I have to make! Love it!!
Anne- As adorable as you are, I fully blame you for the latest Briar Rose fixation.
Great ensemble. I don’t normally wear hats but I would wear that one. love the mittens too. Not cold enough here for mittens I don’t think, such a shame. Also love the yarn parade from the previous post.Makes me want to rush out and start dyeing. How yummy, they are. I can’t wait to see what gems you create from them. Glad you enjoyed your celebrations too. thanks for a great blog.
I see I’m not the only one who said to herself: mmm, great hat, great mittens, but LOVE that sweater! And yes, you are adorable.
Dear Anne!! Is there no END to the tempting and utterly FABULOUS ideas emerging from your needles?!? I love these, too, and will order the pattern pronto! Thank you for your gentle knitting inspirations!!
Anne, love that ensemble! Agree with the others, the sweater is gorgeous too! Are we an unsatiable lot or what??
Another winner!
Just when I thought I had ‘out-mittened’ myself, it looks like I’ll be making another pair. And I LOVE the hat! I just hope it looks half as cute on me as it does on you!
What fun pictures! What a nice hat and mitten set!!
You are just too cute!
Yes! I’m feeling pure and unadulterated love (oh alright, and more than a bit of lust) for new hat and mittens design, and the colours in the yarn? Very Swoon-worthy!
Adorable set. You have very pretty eyes.
They look great! You look like an elf in some of those pictures (in the good, tricksome way). And I’m so glad I checked, because bloglines didn’t tell me you’d posted 🙁
Very nice, and so complementary with your lovely, soft sweater. You are amazing.
I like you in pink. 🙂 Not that I will have time to knit it anytime before Christmas, but I love this pattern. Yay!
I love this set-I had to order it and the other straight away-you are so so clever! Now I only need a one handed friend-I’ve made two mitts without mates because I keep getting distracted by your awesome patterns! Maybe I’ll just be wild and wear one of each!
Happy Holidays!
Hey! I’m supposed to finish the second sleeve on my February Lady sweater but now all I want to knit is that hat. Love it and the mittens!
I have some wonderful Briar Rose in stock, it must have been waiting for these last few mitten and hat patterns I guess 🙂
And it seems you can fill another blog post with writing about your sweater, it’s georgous !
I’ll definitely be picking this one up! Christmas knitting, I. CAN. DO IT!!!
That hat is like an acorn! I love it!
Cute! I like this set too. Although I think it might actually be too warm for California.
