i guess cranky IS good—at least she’s good at knitting. daphne is all done and even wore her moth shawl to the grocery store last evening (i just love that)! what does the newest finisher have to say?

so that leaves carol, cheryl, and liz still knitting away. carol claims to be in last place but i think she is at a good spot, actually—she seems to be right there with cheryl. AND liz, i believe, is a wee bit ahead of them both.

now, a LOT of people bet on cheryl. and carol. less votes for liz, but still a reasonable number. good thing we have lots of prizes!

i just love getting mail from overseas—postcards, letters—you name it. i adore all the stamps and writing on top, the difference in the labels from our own flashy US postal ones.

today rebecca’s package arrived from france with moth race swag inside! rebecca is the nicest, most generous person! she sent us plenty of fonty kidopale in a beautiful silvery shade that has “moth” written all over it.

she also snuck in a little gift to me of that kidsilk haze! i have never knit with it, so that will be a treat indeed. sadly, rebecca is blogless, but i know you ALL will join me in saying:
thank you rebecca!

and that’s all for the moment becasue i am DETERMINED tonight to go off to knit, and only knit for the rest of the evening. maybe later on there will be an update with some progress, but not likely!
