a lacy confection of a glove, of finely knit fabric that skims over the hand without bulk.
the lace panel teases the eye up past the wrist and over a bare arm or beautiful sleeve.
light enough for fancy dress, or just to add a twist to an everyday outfit.
it’s fresh flower for mid-winter.

near the top of the mitt, just before the beginning of the eyelet rib begins, there is a decrease rnd that contains an error. the instructions for this rnd should read:
Next rnd: Work lace panel row 1 over needle one, increasing 1 st at center of needle; on needle two, K1, K2tog, knit to end; on needle three, knit to 3 sts before end, K2tog, K1. [56 sts total]

Those are just lovely. Wow.
I just bought a lovely red skein of handpainted cashmere to knit to keep my hands warm in the office.
It has finally become winter here. I NEED these!
Beautiful.
My trip began at yarnharlot 5 Feb ‘7, and from here to Google, j. knits, and finally to yarn4socks.com. Thank you for this! I am a beginning (4 years of unsupervised struggling) knitter finally ready for good yarn, and till now haven’t known where to find it.
Hi,
I love these Mitts and have the pattern. I started working them up and got to the Lace panel part only to find that I am confused about the SSK part. I know that in the SSK you move two stitches from left to right, one stitch at a time as if to knit. I don’t know how this pattern has you knitting these stitches after the move. Any help?
Great Site, love the blog
