two years

thank you for the birthday tidingsโ€”today is my blogiversary as well.
two years ago i gave myself a blog for my birthday, even though i had no idea what to do with it.
i think i figured it out . . . at least, i’m having fun with it and that was the goal.

thank you all for your joyous participation and feedback on my ramblings and scribblings; it is SO fun to write to you each time.

ok, i’m not going to spend much time on this because it’s my day off (approved by rachel, even).

i have yummy curried soup cooking

and knitting to attend to

i’m almost done with my first hank of yarnโ€”i can’t get over how far i’ve knit with it. but now that the rows are geting longer, i will use it faster and faster i bet.

last night i talked on the phone with debbieKitter for two and a half hours and managed to put some length on gale while we did that (oh, how i love the earpiece for my cell phone).

i might sneak in a little more on that today, too.
and later we are heading out for dinner with some friends who are also celebrating birthdays.

see you next time.

  3. Hope you had a wonderful day, because you really deserve it!!!

I’m just happy that you share so much of your talent and beautiful knitting and photos with us. Thank you so much!

  5. Happy birthday to you and the blog. I’m so glad the Yarn Harlot knit the Delicato mitts last year, because that’s how I found Knitspot and my knitting world has been transformed! That soup looks fantastic!

  6. Happy Birthday, and best wishes for another wonderful year of knitting and designing (as well as all that other stuff, hee hee!)

  7. Happy happy birthday! And to your blog. ๐Ÿ™‚

May the year ahead be your best ever, full of love, good health, fibery goodies and prosperity!

  8. Wishing you a most happy birthday and happy blogiversary!

You are an amazing and inspiring woman, and I’m so glad you gave yourself this blog as a birthday present two years ago. It is by far one of the most enjoyable for me to read and I thank you for sharing yourself the way you do.

So best wishes from me and mine (in freezing Winnipeg, MB Canada).

  9. Happy birthday dear Anne, and happy blogiversary as well ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you’ve had a wonderful day off, I wish you all the best!

  10. Well I’m just so behind these days, but Happy Birthday Anne!!! I had every intent to comment you know, on your actual birthday, but you know how that goes.

I’ll just pretend you do what my sister-in-law does, in that she declares the entire week after her birthday as her birthday week! My poor brother has to come up with gifts for her birthday week, Valentine’s Day and their Anniversary in a span of 2 weeks!

    Anyway, I digress…

So Happy Birthday again, and thanks for being such an inspiration to knitters everywhere! ๐Ÿ™‚
