two years

thank you for the birthday tidingsโ€”today is my blogiversary as well.
two years ago i gave myself a blog for my birthday, even though i had no idea what to do with it.
i think i figured it out . . . at least, i’m having fun with it and that was the goal.

thank you all for your joyous participation and feedback on my ramblings and scribblings; it is SO fun to write to you each time.

ok, i’m not going to spend much time on this because it’s my day off (approved by rachel, even).

i have yummy curried soup cooking

and knitting to attend to

i’m almost done with my first hank of yarnโ€”i can’t get over how far i’ve knit with it. but now that the rows are geting longer, i will use it faster and faster i bet.

last night i talked on the phone with debbieKitter for two and a half hours and managed to put some length on gale while we did that (oh, how i love the earpiece for my cell phone).

i might sneak in a little more on that today, too.
and later we are heading out for dinner with some friends who are also celebrating birthdays.

see you next time.

Thank you for blogging. I look forward to your posts so much… you always have so many wonderful things to share, whether it is tidbits about life, your beautiful knitting, or recipes that make me feel hungry. I appreciate you so much, and as a lurker I know I don’t say that often enough… but thank you. I hope you have a splendid birthday, and that this year you will continue to find happiness!

  13. Happy Birthday, Anne.

Thanks for blogging, and designing, and cooking, and photographing, and all that you do.

This is one of my very, very favorite places in the knit-o-sphere.

  14. Very Happy Birth-da-Blog-i-versa-day!
Thank you for your wonderful blog and for sharing so much of your design process with us. Hope you’ve had a great day.

  15. Happy Birthday Anne! I’m so glad that you gave yourself a blog for a birthday present two years ago. By doing so you also gifted all of us with your wit and talent. Enjoy a wonderful day and an even better trip around the sun.

  16. Congratulations on both your birthday and bloganniversary. Your blog and projects are so inspirational for us to peruse. Looking forward to more and more. Enjoy.

  17. Happy Birthday and Happy Blog-versary and my goodness those projects are looking luscious!

Must get back into working on Cluaranach. I couldn’t today because I had to actually watch the Superbowl.

Thank you so much for all the education, eye candy and inspiration you provide.

  18. Happy birthday and happy blog-day! And thank you so much for this window into your world. Your creativity is so inspiring at so many levels: the knitting and designing, the cooking and gardening, the photography of all, the glimpses of how you and David live your lives (your desk, the house, the garden, the bicycle…). I know we’re seeing what you choose for us to see but as it is Knitspot is a wonderful place to visit and come away inspired. May you have many more happy inspiring birthdays and blogdays (and may I soon actually complete one of your inspiring patterns!)
